Halving an LLM writing skill's cost with a deterministic pass
I caught myself renting a frontier model to check my Oxford commas. Moving the mechanical half of a draft-audit skill into a dumb Python script halved its cost and time with no drop in quality, and taught me the one habit I'd take to the next skill I build.

We're all just prediction engines, and the question just got a due date
We love telling ourselves that AI just guesses while we, the geniuses, actually reason. I'm no longer convinced those are different things...and cheap room-temperature quantum computing is about to make the question impossible to ignore.
